Group Home – Livin' Proof (2LP)

Released in 1995, *Livin' Proof* is the debut album from Group Home, emerging from the Gang Starr Foundation.

Entirely produced by DJ Premier, this record stands out as one of the grittiest and most street-oriented works in '90s NY Hip Hop.

With tracks like "Livin' Proof," "Supa Star," and "Suspended In Time," the album features the intersection of Premier’s heavy drums and sampling with the rough flows of Lil Dap and Melachi The Nutcracker.

Born from the Gang Starr Foundation community, the album feels as though it has captured the very essence of the NY scene at that time.
