N.E.R.D. - She Wants To Move: Remixes

A 12-inch remix release of N.E.R.D.’s “She Wants To Move,” released in 2004.

In addition to the original by The Neptunes, it includes the Native Tongue Remix featuring Common, De La Soul, Mos Def, and Q-Tip. It also features a club-oriented remix by Jason Nevins.

This record sits at the intersection of N.E.R.D.’s genre-spanning sensibility—blending rock, hip hop, and funk—and the lineage of 90s NYC hip hop connected to the Native Tongues.

It is a unique piece of remix culture that offers an interesting perspective on 2000s hip hop.
