Wu-Tang Clan – Enter The Wu-Tang (36 Chambers)

Released in 1993, Wu-Tang Clan's debut album, "Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers)."

With RZA at the helm, Ghostface Killah, GZA, Method Man, Raekwon, Inspectah Deck, Ol' Dirty Bastard, U-God, and Masta Killa gathered together.

Gritty drums, soul samples, snippets from Kung Fu films, and the unique mic relay of nine MCs.

A work that brought a new worldview to 90s New York Hip Hop from the group's base in Staten Island.

The title "36 Chambers" is influenced by Kung Fu films such as "The 36th Chamber of Shaolin."

RZA's production is also one of the elements that defines this album.

"C.R.E.A.M." samples "As Long As I've Got You" by The Charmels.

Digging for old Soul and Funk records, cutting out segments, and transforming them into RZA's distinctively gritty beats.

It is an album that created Wu-Tang's unique world while inheriting the sampling culture that came before it.
